Back again???

Minions! It has been FOREVER since we have been active on any of our pages. After the whirlwind that doing reaction videos became, we had to take a step back and figure out some life things first.

While we loved enjoying the amazing world of Kpop with all of you, as we have graduated college and begun our careers, it has taken a lot of our time away from the YouTube world. We made some awesome memories living in South Korea together for a while, and we hope you enjoyed our crazy adventures there as well!!

Going forward, we have both been working on different life paths. Mindy is in the beginning of her new career, and Katie is also working on another big change in her life as well. We are living in separate states in the US, so making content together just isn't feasible anymore.

HOWEVER, Katie is very much still interested in making content. It has always been her passion to create and edit videos for this channel, and she wants to continue to do so. She has posted a poll on the NDK YouTube channel (newly named NDK so it can be a little easier to find lol Vote HERE ), and it seems like the majority of votes (so far) are for daily life kind of vlogs. SO, in the next week or so you can look forward to seeing a new video from NDK!! Probably the first in YEARS!

Katie is probably going to be doing most of the posting and creating for the time being, though Mindy may decide she wants to join and create on her own at one point in the future. Who knows?! Our lives have always been a little bit crazy, so we can never really predict what will happen next.

Thank you to all the wonderful Minions that have supported and watched all of our craziness! Katie hopes that she can continue to entertain, even if we can't be exactly the same, perhaps we can grow and change together!

Long time, no see!

Dearest Minions,

It seems like SUCH a long time since we have been active on this blog--entirely the fault of school and work getting absolutely crazy!  Now that Katie has graduated college (HOORAY) she has more time to devote to posting things here on the blog and up on our YouTube channel.

Mindy is busy taking Korean classes at Kyunghee University, as well as teaching English to cute little Korean munchkins. She is VERY busy, so I don't think we can expect to hear much from here until she gets back in December. However, she has told me that she has filmed a few things and may be posting every once in a while, so look forward to more from her soon (hopefully)!!!

Katie has quite a few videos and other types of projects in the works, but everything takes a lot of time and coordinating to get just right, so please hang in there while she works out the logistics of it all.

I know that most of you found us because of our Reaction Videos, but besides those, what sort of videos do you want to see more of? Hopefully we can take you input into consideration when making major content decisions in the future.

This will be a seasonal show, since there are down times for comebacks. We will explain how the show will work during the first episode, but basically we will be talking about and ranking all of the debuts and comebacks in Kpop, which all will be competing for the Hot Top Spot! This spot is for the music video that we think is just beyond amazing in one way or another, and is currently our favorite video. We will also have other rankings, which you all shall see in the first episode. 

Season 1 will start this Sunday, so watch out for the very first episode EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Changes

Our dearest Minions,

As you might have seen, we have been making a lot of changes here at NamasteDwaejiKim.

The decision to start a second channel was made with a lot of thought, and the hope that you all will still support us on this second channel. We have been having some problems with entertainment companies (specifically Japanese companies) claiming copyright on our reaction videos. They have every right to do so, since we are using their copyrighted material. However, this makes it difficult for us to bring quality videos to you. So we created Viva La Kpop!!! We will be using this channel for all of our non-copyrighted videos, such as Fangirl Moments, NDK News, DDW and other videos we have planned for the future.

Also, within NDK News we are considering creating a segment where we review new MVs. This would eventually replace our reaction videos since those are becoming increasingly difficult. We would like to know what you guys think about us possibly doing reviews in NDK News. Post a comment here or on our facebook page, and let us know what you guys think!!!
